During pregnancy, your energy levels vary daily and your body may feel weak or unfamiliar at times. Prenatal Yoga classes will gently guide you to achieve graceful and strengthening positions which, combined with relaxation techniques, will provide you with the tools to bring confidence and comfort to your daily life.
Prenatal Yoga can also alleviate many of the discomforts of pregnancy such as constipation, oedema, back pain and sciatica.

Serene Pregnancy offers group classes and can also guide you through private classes specifically designed for your journey into motherhood.
Serene Pregnancy yoga classes are conducted in a 4 or 8-week program designed for each trimester. Using bolsters, blocks, birth balls and straps, Prenatal Yoga classes offer a variety of exercises, ranging from a dynamic practice to a gentler style of yoga with breathing awareness and relaxation techniques. Each private class is tailored to your individual needs.
One class lasts 75 minutes.
Note: If you want to practice yoga with your pregnant friends at your place, please let me know and we can organise classes of up to 3 women preferably in the same trimester.
Prenatal Yoga classes are beneficial wherever you are on your pregnancy journey. The classes are most beneficial if you take them at least once a week.
Private classes: In the comfort of your own place. I come to your home with all the props you need for the class.
I teach in the inner suburbs of Auckland. I can travel to outer suburbs, providing an extra cost based on mileage rates.

I also give a class exclusively focused on birth positions and a class for you and your partner where I will teach your birth companion how he/she can help you in different ways throughout your labour including with birth positions.
